One of our suppliers Keepme Bags set the challenge at the beginning of the year for promotional distributors to order and print 200k cotton shoppers – with the distributor printing the most having the opportunity to donate £2000 to a charity of their choice.
We are proud to say that we won this challenge which we couldn’t have done without all of our customers support and orders – so thank you!
Our Managing Director Jamie Marshall specifically wanted to donate to a children’s charity and to “something that would make a real difference to children’s lives.”
The charity we have donated to is The Dream Factory which has been setup to make wishes come true for children or young adults who have either life limiting or life threatening conditions in a hope to brighten their lives and encourage hope.
We managed to help make two wishes come true:
An 11 year old girl from Edmonton in London who has Leukaemia, for which she recently had a bone marrow transplant at GOSH. Her dream is to own her own Shih Tzu puppy.
A 7 year old girl from Horsham in West Sussex who suffers from Wolf Hischhorn Syndrome, she has epilepsy, deafness, severe physical disabilities – is a wheelchair user, no communication skills. Her dream is to visit Euro Disney.
We hope that by helping to grant these wishes that it offers some hope and joy to the two girls.
We are so inspired by the special work that Avril and her team carry out at the charity and look forward to supporting them in the future to help deliver further wishes.
